living traces/burning breath at the 2010 Minneapolis Fringe

Video by Havana Mahoney

In the summer of 2010 MXTW toured their production of living traces/burning breath to the Minneapolis Fringe Festival. The show featured all of the original works created in that summer’s workshop. The target story was Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp and the show included plays written using the techniques of the Dadaists, Betusyaku Minoru, ntozake shange, and Harry Kondoleon’s The Brides. The touring company spent a week and a half performing, seeing shows, and meeting theater artists from around the country. Most exciting were all the other artists that came to our performances and took the time to come talk to our company about the show.
